Copper Cabling Solutions
End-to-end copper cabling infrastructure design and installation — from horizontal workstation drops to multi-pair backbone trunking between telecom rooms.
Overview
Copper cabling forms the physical foundation of every enterprise LAN, delivering data, voice, and power (PoE) over a single medium. Summit DNC designs copper infrastructure that balances cost, performance, and longevity. We handle everything from 25-pair backbone trunks between MDF/IDF rooms to individual station drops, using materials from CommScope, Panduit, and Belden. Our installations meet TIA-568 and BICSI TDMM standards with full pathway design, fire-stop compliance, and documented test results.
Key Benefits
- Unified medium for data, voice, and PoE in a single cable
- Lower material cost than fiber for short horizontal runs
- Easier field termination — no fusion splicer required
- Wide compatibility with switches, phones, cameras, and APs
- Proven 25+ year lifespan with proper installation
- Simple troubleshooting with handheld cable testers
